The Occupational Therapist is providing Group Therapy to patients who are enrolled in a residental treatment program, he is also providing Health and Behavorial Intervention to the group members (which is face to face each 15 minutes), which he is documentating. Also he is providing cognitive development skils to each of the group members, which is also 15 minute sface to face time, and supports this with documentation. The code selection would be
96153,97532-59,97150. I have entered these into my 3M system to make sure that I do not have any edits, and as long as I separate the 97532 with a 59 modifier, it is fine. I think it is justified to use all three codes because two of them are face to face and the other is for the group therapy. Am I off base here???? help
