Good afternoon,
We had a patient at our urgent care that was in sever mania and over the top delusional. Our provider spent 3 hours treating, counseling this patient along with contacting other providers, police for possible 5150.
Counseled the husband. The charting was 4 pages and details were nothing like I have ever seen in my 20 plus years.
I think that a 99205 with a 99354 is just not enough. Does anyone have any suggestions. Your help would be much appreciated. We do not have patients like this show at our office for treatment.
