Hi and thank you for the replies in advance. I am looking for written information about coding R03.0 elevated BP reading without a diagnosis of HTN. There is a coder that wants to code R03.0 from a statement similar to this Vitals: Blood Pressure 142/92 may be related to the patients illness and/or undiagnosed hypertension. I have searched for articles and Coding Clinic and cannot find anything. Any and all information is welcome.
