When coding ROUNDS for Pediatrician for Newborn services...
Z3800 acceptable with 99460. However, for subsequent visit, do we ever use z00.110 with z38.00 (99462)? I am getting discrepancies from edits and now uncertain as to my first listed diagnosis for the subsequent RNDS visit.
Do I use Z38.00 for each visit for a newborn well visit in hospital (initial and subsequent) for the Pediatrician?
and Typically, is Z00.110 reserved for the visit in OFFICE by pediatrician at newborn's OP visit within 8 days of birth?
