I'm not sure I understand your question ... perhaps the dates are wrong?

You say patient was seen 10/28; surgery was scheduled 11/12? I don't see how this is a same-day admission.

Please clarify.

Debbie,

I assume you mean that the patient was first seen by your physician in the office on 10/28 at which time the decision for surgery was made and the surgery scheduled for 11/12. If this is the case, you cannot bill for anything on 11/12 except for the surgery. The H&P that is required for surgery is included in the global. There is no additional work outside of the requirements for the bowel resection that your doctor is doing so it is considered inclusive/bundled.
