Does anyone know if there is a software program or website which will allow coders to key in codes and check for compatability. I know that the hospitals have access to such software but did not know if it was available to the public/small doc offices to utilize. I do check NCCI edits & MUEs listing if in doubt but just wanted to explore other opportunities. Thanks for your input!

If you're talking about software that allows you to key in codes and see if they are bundled, we use CustomCoder. It also lets you know what modifiers may be used with different codes and even gives you a description of CPT codes, similar to in the CDR book. It has a ton of different features including access to various newsletters and articles.

Hope this helps:)

I would stick with CustomCoder. I have heard a great deal about it and how great all of the references attached are. I also hear that it is fairly priced.
