What is the best code to be using for these two screenings?
 
We include the ACT in the E/M since it is more a questionaire. The postpartum depression screening is coded using 99420 in our state (MN), since it is now a covered benefit for state public programs. You may want to review your state's coding recommendation on this service. I believe they use this same code in the state of IL.
