Hello,
I have a provider that bills 45388 with the documentation shown below:
"A single sessile poly of benign appearance was found in the ascending colon. A piece-meal polypectomy was performed using a cold forceps. The polyp was completely removed and retrieved."
Due to the mention of cold forceps I feel that 45380 is a better choice.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
