I'm looking for a code to use when services are provided with school counselors court officers social workers etc. I'm looking at using 90785 interactive complexity any thoughts? This is for Medicaid services for counselors.
 
You don't indicate what type of provider (ie:psych, social work) you are asking about. The 90785 is an add on code so cannot be used alone. I would suggest looking at codes 90882 or 90887 depending on the actual service.
 
It would be for Ma LPCC and LPCA and Community Health Organizations I realize it is an add on code and can be used with 90971 90832 90834 90837 Kentucky Medicaid is working towards paying services for counselors in this setting. I will look at 90882 and 90887. I am new to Mental Health billing and working very hard to figure this all out :)
