This might be a stupid questions, however when DO you use the new code 00812 with colonoscopy procedure? Is appropriate to use 00812 for IV sedation ?

I am not sure on the IV sedation part, however you are to use the 00812 when it is a screening only with Z12.11. It turns to 00811 if they do any biopsies or removal of polyps, etc.
