is a colonoscopy done on a pt with a total proctocolectomy w/ ileoanal anastomosis advanced 164cm upstream coded as a regular colonoscopy?
 
This is a little tricky, but I was thinking with the information provided, using an unlisted code 44799, because you are performing an -oscopy procedure through the small intestine and then compare it to the colonoscopy code you were thinking. This may have to be appealed but I think the small intestine unlisted code would explain the part of the intestine that is being examined.
