Colonoscopy screening with modifier PT? Pls Help :)

Patient here for Colonoscopy Screening.
Internal Hemorrhoid found, but nothing was done.

I know if this Colonoscopy turned into therapeutic (ex removal of polyp),
what if nothing is done? Just a DX of internal hemorrhoid.
Do we still need to append Modifier PT or do we use this only when a therapeutic p/c is done?

If nothing thereapeutic was performed, then there is no need to use the PT modifier, you just code it as the screening test that was intended linking to the screening ICD-10 code. The finding was incidental and can be listed as a secondary diagnosis code, however since nothing was done as a result you will not link that code to any service.
