According to CPT a 'complete' echo includes R&L atrium, R&L ventricle, pericardium, aortic, tricuspid and mitral valves, and adjacent portions of the aorta. If the report contains documentation of the pericardium, all valves, R&L ventricles and the statement "other chamber sizes are normal" would that be a complete or does each chamber have to mentioned separately or would he also have to mention something like Right and left atria are normal in size? Thank you
