Hi, for a Complete Echo 93306, the description says it includes the Doppler/color flow, it has a warning CCI that comes up with the 93321 that you can bypass with a modifier if documentation supports. In the 93321 description it states you can separately bill this with a limited Echo, but says nothing about being able to bill with a Complete echo. When would this ever be ok to bill together if ever?
 
If you read the description for a complete echo in the CPT book, it includes both spectral and color flow Doppler. It would never be appropriate to report 93321 separately with 93306.
