Hi,

One of our radiologists asked if a diagnostic imaging report(final report) requires techniques to be documented. Can he just say "total 14 sequences are done,7 sequences before IV contrast and 7 sequences after IV contrast" instead of narrating all the sequences?
Below is an example of technique documented on a MRI abdomen without contrast and with contrast
example---
Technique
Utilizing the 1.5 Tesla Toshiba Titan MR scanner, 14 sequences were obtained. The sequences are: 1) coronal T2 weighted with TE of 90 FASE, 2) axial T1 weighted with fat suppression, 3) axial in and out-of-phase, 4) axial T2 weighted (TE 90)FASE, 5) axial T2 weighted (TE 90) FS FASE, 6) coronal T2 weighted (TE 160) FS FASE, 7) axial SSFP.

Following intravenous administration of contrast,8) axial T1 weighted with fat suppression at intermediate, 20 seconds, 40 seconds and 60 seconds, 9) axial T1 weighted with fat suppression 2 minutes post injection, 10) axial T1 weighted with fat suppression 4 minutes post injection, 11)2 D MRCP, 12) 3D MRCP, 13) 3 D axial T1 weighted with fat suppression 10 minutes post injection, 14) coronal T1 weighted with fat suppression 10 minutes post injection. All of the sequences were obtained with breathholding.
