Patient received treatment in an out-patient hospital setting.

Received the following;
Decadron IV push at 0918
Kytril IV push at 0919
Magnesium Infusion 0930 to 1030 (1 hour)
Leucovorin Infusion 0944 to 1125 (1 hour 41 minutes)
5FU IV push at 1127

I coded the following;
96375 x 2 for decadron and Kytril
96409 for 5fu
96367 for magnesium

My question is, do I not bill for the concurrent Leucovorin infusion since 96368 cannot be used with 96409? or
Do I bill for 2 hours of the Leucovorin infusion and not bill for the magnesium infusion time?

Thank you for your help.

96367 is reportable with 96409. Concurrent infusion is only given when both drug given at same time have a single access site.

Concurrent

When I have Leucov with a chemo push, I code it with the 96367 96366. I see what you are saying about the Mag. running at the same time. The mag did run for 14 minutes alone so I would code that too.
