Operative reports says:
Excision of abdominal wall abscess
Description states:
As ellipse of skin was incised containing the central necrotic area and then cautery was used to dissect down through the subcutaneous tissue excising the entire cyst. There was purulence within this abscess that was cultured. Hemostasis was achieved with cautery. Then wound was pack.
Path Report states: Subcutaneous adipose tissue with severe acute/chronic inflamamation and abscess formation extendig into lower dermis.
