Wiki conflicts with procedures

We have a certified coder in our office who says we can not use a 99211 and a 85610 together- but need to find exact documentation so we can have it on file for our records. I am in the process of getting certified and with me being "new" to the criteria, and learning all the do's and don'ts, I need help as to where to go to find that information. I have found 2 conflicting documented reports about using these 2 codes. One through the AMA website saying it is possiable and Medicare saying you can't. What is the final ruling and where can I find the exact wording as to what I can and can not do. Help!!!

Yes you can!

I believe you can bill these two codes together. I went into FlashCode in the National Correct Coding Iniative Quick Check and it states "There are no NCCI Edits for this code pair. 99211 and 85610 may be billed together." You should try FlashCode's 30 day trial and see for yourself!
