This is kind of complicated but, I have surgeons that sometimes see and or do debridements on each other's patients. My question is: These surgeons have different specialties (ex, orthropedics vs. general surgery vs. wound care) but the same tax ID number. Will they fall in each other global periods or can they each bill? For instance, if Surgeon A from Orthopedics does an amputation and then Surgeon B from general surgery (same tax ID's mind you) does a debridement on the surgical wound a week later does he fall under Surgeon A's global?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
