I need a little direction. We have received refund requests from a particular MA plan recently, stating that the patient was in a SNF stay during that date of service. The problem is that we have never had a MA plan do this. Claims don't deny for consolidated billing and we've never had a refund request. We are not contracted with this MA plan or any of the others for that matter. Has anyone else dealt with consolidated billing and non-contracted MA plans before. Have we just been lucky up until now or are they trying to pull a fast one?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
