Hello:
Can somebody help me how to code a control of arterial bleeding by trauma team only? tourniquet in place proximal left upper extremity. the tourniquet was removed which revealed 2 arterial active bleeders. Initially bleeders were clamped with mosquito clamp then vascular clamps applied which provided hemostasis. Additional slow venous oozing was noted in wound bed. Pressure dressing applied. X-ray taken which showed a fracture of the distal ulna. Orthopedic surgery consulted and recommended patient be transferred to replantation service,
