I'm having a bit of a brain fog this morning & could use some help.

Patient with previous femoral neck fracture that was repaired with pin/screw fixation. Presents with pain and imaging reveals AVN of the femoral head with femoral head collapse. Surgeon removes the previously placed fixation and converts to a bipolar hemiarthroplasty of the hip. Would this be coded as an unlisted procedure or with the hemi code 27125? Per CCI edits the removal of the previously placed fixation is inclusive.

Appreciate any advice.
