Does anyone have a form or letter that you use when you bill the copay to the patient when they are unable to pay on the dos? I know we are not supposed to do that but my doctor... well you all know how the doctors are.. Any help with this would be great.

Doesn't you billing software generate patient statements???

it does but only once the insurance has paid. My doctor wants the copays paid within 10 days of the dos

OK, can you move the copay due to the patient side without having an insurance pymt?

nope, Can't bill the patient untill the insurance processes. Thats why I'm looking for a letter/form I could send out myself stating the copay and that copays need to be collected on dos or it's breaking the insurance contract. But I would like a more professional type.
