Copays during global periods

If a patient comes for a post op (90 day global) I understand the visit is included in the surgery and we cannot bill for it however my questions is, do we still collect a copay from the patient? I have someone saying yes because the patient is obligated to pay this for each visit. Then I have someone say no because it is a post op.

Thank you in advance

No, the payment that is made for the surgery includes all of the post-operative care during the global period. There would be no copay due from the patient for post-operative visits outside of whatever was their share (i.e. deductible or copay) of the surgical payment itself.
