Hello everyone,

I have a physician that started doing Coronary Intravascular Lithotripsy during his procedures. I am billing for professional charges for the Cardiologist. Is there a CPT Code for this ?

I have only found what the hospital can bill for C1761 for it.

Currently, coronary lithotripsy does not have a billable procedure code for physicians or hospitals. Hospitals may charge for the device (C code). It is rumored that there may be a code being developed for this in the future. New HCPCS codes were developed for lower extremity lithotripsy codes in 2022.
