Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am currently working for a cardiovascular office and trying to do the anesthesia billing. I am constantly getting denials from NGS Medicare in NY. The doctor is performing procedures 37225, 37221, and 75716 in an accredited office setting. I am billing the anesthesia code 01924. Medicare is denying the code stating it cannot be performed in the office setting. Is there any other cross code I can try and bill for these procedures? 50% of the anesthesiologist's income relies on getting these Medicare claims paid, and I cannot find any other code to use. Any help/insight would be greatly apprecited.
