We do vascular studies in our office and not sure if we are coding the right codes for LEA (lower extremity arterial ultrasound). We use 93925 and 93922 if ABI done would you use the 93978 if you start at the external iliac. We are not sure if we can bill 93978 because we only start at the external iliac. Should we be using 93979 if we only see the external iliac? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
