Can you code CPT 32810 and 32036 together
32036 Thoracostomy; with open flap drainage for empyema with 32810 Closure of chest wall following open flap drainage for empyema?

Well, you wouldn't code them at the same session (which is what it sounds like you mean when you say "together"), as the Claggett procedure (32810) is for a patient with a pre-existing opening (previously created surgically) that is ready for closure.
