Center does not have the Tomo portion of the x-ray, therefore; we canot perform true IVP exams. What we can do is perform a CT volume of the kidneys with a KUB x-ray. This would cost more than the IVP but would give much more information

Indications: Visualization of ureters for suspected ureteral stricture. The IVP is needed by the urologist of a standard CT urogram to ensure visualization of the ureters.

Protocol:

1.) Scout KUB
2.) Volume CT of kidneys on Aquilon ONE with 50-100ml of Isovue 370 and 90 second delay
3.) IVP films: PA view at 5, 10 and 15 minutes; both obliques at 10 minutes; post-void view

Would the correct CPT codes for this protocol be:

74160-52
74400
Q9965

Thanks.
