Does anyone know the best CPT to submit the psychiatric assessment when the LCSW has performed an 90801 on the same day?

Hi There,
A MD would have to use regular Outpatient E&Ms.
90801 is only used by Mental Health Providers such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Social Workers.

Thank you! Although the MD is the psychiatrist.
We bill the 90801 for the Psychiatrist since the reimbursment rate is higher and then bill the LCSW or LPCs at 90806 or 90808 based on length of time the client was seen. This was explained to us as the way to do it per Wisconsin Medicaid. This is also based on outpatient practice.
