Wiki Correct CPT code for Interlaminar ESI T12-L1

Hello,
I have a question as to the correct CPT code to bill for a T12-L1 ESI. Would this be considered thoracic or lumbar. The provider has documented a dx of M54.16 (lumbar radiculopathy) so I am leaning toward 62323, but the T12 is throwing me off. Any assistance appreciated!

Hi there, the CPT manual states that interlaminar epidurals are coded based on the region where the needle entered the patient's body. This information should be in the operative report.
