Wiki Correcting dictation? Yes or no?

Our physicians use Dragon for their dictation in the EHR but will not make corrections as they go and will sign off on some truly horrible reports full of extra words, wrong words, typographical and grammatical errors.

We have the ability to create and edit a PDF of the encounter and save it as an attachment to the record. We can then mark the bad encounter "erroneous" and put a pop up note in the chart indicating that users should refer to the attached document for the encounter note.

Would this be an acceptable solution to our issue of physicians not reading what Dragon types as they speak? I do not want to violate any laws.
