I have an office that will be doing COVID-19 rapid tests in office. The test is only for COVID-19, it does not include Influenza A & B. What CPT code do we use?
 
We use 86769 for the Rapid test( IGg and IGM) . I'm not sure what comprises your rapid test....... You can check with the lab if you don't know.
 
I found out it is for the Lucira all in one kit for home use but it is being used as a point of care test in the office. We have come up with 87635,QW. Fingers crossed we are on the right track. Lab coding is a foreign language for me!
