Does anyone know if the Covid infusions codes M0243 are reportable with an administration code ? What does “post administration monitoring” mean for this code?

Codify says that M0243 is the administration code; you'd bill the drugs with Q0423 (Injection, casirivimab and imdevimab, 2400 mg). Also, per Codify, "The provider clinically monitors the patient during administration and observes the patient after the infusion is complete, typically for another hour." Hope that helps.

M0243 is the administration. Q0243 is the drug, which you shouldn't be billing if you're getting this through normal channels (as the gov't is picking up the bill for that).
Post administration monitoring - so it's a 15 minute infusion but it requires at least an hour of monitoring afterwards. This means that the time is included in the administration and cannot be separately billed.

Does anyone have an example of the ICD 10 code for the infusion of this...is it U071, or Z20822 + signs and symptoms or either or? Also has anyone seen "the list" of high risk pt DX...can a DR order this for a high risk pt for prophylactical reasons without a positive test and then we code the symptoms and high risk issues? Having a difficult time finding guidance on this.
