I am an aspiring outpatient/pro-fee medical coder looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and begin my coding career. I hold the CPC‑A credential and am one year into my apprenticeship period. I also have an Associate Degree and a Medical Coding Certificate, along with formal training in ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, HCPCS, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
In addition to my coding education, I have several years of unpaid family-based caregiving experience that involved reviewing clinical documentation, tracking diagnoses, coordinating care, and working with providers. This strengthened my ability to read and understand medical records, follow documentation patterns, and maintain accuracy.
I am seeking a 100% remote coding position due to personal circumstances that require me to work from home. I am reliable, organized, and eager to learn within a supportive coding team. I am open to outpatient, physician practice, or emergency department pro-fee coding roles where I can grow and contribute to accurate and compliant coding processes.
