I received my CPC-H study guide; I am a CPC..In looking thru the book I did not see a BIG difference..could someone give in more detail what is main difference between th CPC and CPC-H. I do already code all my surgeries from the opertive reports.

What is the main focus on for CPC-H..

Hi there,
CPC-H in my opinion is hospital based. Where I work, we code ALL surgeries. It differs in that some of the coding is picked up through a cdm or charge master. We also have a separate billing department.
