Wiki CPC Training Manual Chapter3 missing information, please help!

I just completed reading Chapter3 in my CPC textbook. I am now reading the study guide and see that the information in the study guide is much more detailed than the textbook. In fact, much of the material that is supposed to be included in the textbook doesn’t appear there at all but does appear in the study guide. I’m assuming the textbook should be more detailed than the study guide but this is not the case. No where in my chapter 3 textbook is HIV nor AIDS coding discussed along with many other items listed in my study guide. I’m afraid I’m missing a great deal of information from the textbook. Can someone please check this and confirm this? When confirmed, can I get information on how to proceed given that the information is NOT in my textbook? Chapter 3 in my text is only 20 pages long but in my study guide, chapter 3 (condensed?) material is 34 pages long? How can that be?
