Hi All,

As I'm new to billing, please some one guide me with the maximum units to be get paid for CPT 11046. I received the document support for 11046*40 units. Is there any possibilities to get paid.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes, if your documentation supports 40 units, then you will just need to submit a first level appeal to the payer with the medical records attached and the claim should be paid.

11046 is per 20 sq cm. So as long as your documentation shows a wound that is more than 800 sq cm then there should be no issues.
