An established pt comes to the office to have scheduled 10 plantar warts removed. I understand that we bill 17000 x1 and then would it be correct to bill 17003 x9. If I am reading the verbiage to 17003 this would be coded in units up to the 14th lesions which is removed. Am I also to assume that if you removed more than 14 lesions by this method, that the practice would not be paid for anything over 14?
