Hi,
I am new to IR coding and have a question. Can someone tell me if Medicare requires these codes to be reported once with a 50 modifier or twice with the 50 modifier on the second cpt?

Thank you!

You can use modifier-50 for bilateral, or use a RT, LT modifier with each code.
