Question CPT 38208 - thawing of stem cells - restricted to CAR-T?

Our Stem Cell Lab only rarely uses CPT 38208 ("Transplant preparation of hematopoietic progenitor cells; thawing of previously frozen harvest, without washing, per donor"), because their thinking is that this code ONLY applies to CAR-T cells and not any other type of stem cell product. I don't see anything in the definition that restricts this to CAR-T. Has anyone else had any experience with using this code with products other than CAR-T?
