Hi, I'm a newly certified CPC-A and during my job search I came across a position needing someone familiar with CPT-4 and ICD-9. I have never heard of CPT-4 so on the application I said that I wasn't familiar with it. My CPT book is 2010, please tell me CPT-4 is something different than that. :confused:
 
Check the front of your CPT book....

This just means that this is the fourth edition from which revisions have been made during subsequent years.

Thank you! It says I have the standard edition, and on the inside cover it says the 4th edition was printed in 1977. So this must be a revised edition of the 4th edition. That means I AM familiar with the CPT-4 :)
