Having problems getting paid by Medicare for 65800. Doctor performed this procedure multiple times on both eyes. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It was billed with 65800-50 12 units. It was unusual circumstances. The patient had a new glaucoma procedure by another physician. She came to us after the procedure (a couple of days) and her pressure was 68 OD 71 OS. Doctor had to do the paracentesis 6 times each eye to keep pressure down. Medicare is saying to many procedures. They paid the exam but not the 65800.
