Hello everyone!
This is an odd one! We had a patient who is 99 years old and we billed out CPT 73565 for bilateral xrays of the knees. We are getting a denial saying that procedure code 73565 is not valid for this member's age. They are saying that the code is only valid til members are 98 years old. Does anyone have any insight about this?
Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
