Our pediatric office wants to start billing CPT 87502 for influenza testing . Do you know what the major payers reimburse for this procedure? Has your practice ever used this code and how much do you bill it for?

I have not heard of using this code. We code 87804 and do not have any problem with reimbursement. We do test for both Flu A & B so I do code multiple units, but list them separate
