Hello,

A patient has a Spirometry PFT 94060 done then a few days later the patient comes in to go over the results-can the provider bill CPT 94016 Patient-initiated spirometric recording per 30-day period of time; review and interpretation only by a physician or other qualified health care provider?

I am thinking no because it should be done over a 30-day period.
 
Hmm.. interesting one. We do PFT daily and have never billed anything for a provider explaining the results on a different day. Usually results are same day.
