Our Ophthalomolgist/Optometrist need some information on CPT 92250, Fundus photography with interpretation and report. I have searched Medicare for a policy on this procedure but have been unsuccessful in locating one. Does anyone that has Cahaba for their MAC, perform this service and if so, how is the reimbursement? Thanks in advance for any information you can send my way.

Can't help you with the reimbursement. However, it's considered a bilateral procedure so you are paid the same whether you take a picture of one eye or both but it's assumed you do both at the same time.
It can't be done the same day as an OCT scan.
Your I&R should give the reason for taking the photos and the interpretation of the images.
Not much more to tell than that.
