I keep noticing references to the "CPT Assistant."
Could someone please tell me what exactly it is and we're I can get it?

You have several vendors to choose from. If you google "CPT Assistant" you'll get several hits.
Ohh...CPT Assistant gives you insight on coding issues. It helps to understand the rationale behind the codes. I find them very helpful when insurance companies deny claims for bundling issues.

When you look in your CPT code book you see under some of the codes the CPT asst and gives you a ref page. If you had the CPT assistant book or software, then you would be able to look up additional information regarding that code and sometimes scenario's etc. Its AWESOME! I wouldnt be able to code without it at times
