Doc drained two subQ abscesses from a patient. One in the left antecubital fossa and the other was on the left thumb. He packed both incisions, and my question is, does the code 10061 mean that it can only be billed once, since the description says, complicated or multiple? Or, since there were two seperate incisions made in separate areas, can it be billed twice? Thanks so much!
