Good morning! I am looking to see if I can or need to add a donor site preparation to CPT code 19361? I know that the closure of the donor site is included, but I am not sure if the prep of the donor site is.
 
I believe that preparation of the donor site is included since this is for a specific flap in a specific anatomic area and the RVU values for the code should reflect that.
According to ASPS this includes elevation and transfer of flap, closure of donor site, creation of breast pocket, breast contouring and formation of breast mound.
